Your responsibilities will include contributing to various phases of engineering and site work, assisting in proposal preparation, selecting technologies, and proposing solutions to clients.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
  • From no experience to five years of relevant experience
  • Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association
  • Experience in instrumentation and control design
  • Experience programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)
  • Availability to travel to and from our BBA offices in the Greater Montréal area
  • Willingness for short- and long-term work assignments at client sites
  • Asset: Bilingual in English and French, both spoken and written
  • Asset: Interest or experience in automation and instrumentation, especially in mining or energy sectors
  • Asset: Knowledge of ABB’s 800xA control platform
