Pay Details: $91,200 - $136,800 CAD

This role is temporarily eligible for a pay premium above the posted salary range that is reassessed annually. Role Summary

We are looking for someone to provide DevOps Engineering. You will be exposed to stretch assignments as you take on large-scale, complex, and/or enterprise-wide projects.

Responsibilities

• Coding in TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, Groovy, Golang
• Design and managing cloud platforms and automation pipelines
• Ansible development, especially writing collections, playbooks, and modules
• Translate business, Enterprise Architecture, system performance and development standards into functional/technical designs for applications and systems
• Review technical deliverables for quality, identify gaps or redesign as needed
• Respect TD's technology delivery practices and standards, project management disciplines, business technology architecture, and risk and production capacity
• Deliver effective solutions by meeting milestones, staying within budget, and adhering to quality and security standards
• Identify ways to minimize cost and propose strategic solutions to enhance stakeholder experience
• Conduct code reviews to address quality, standards compliance, reusability, and maintainability; participate in Operational Readiness Reviews
• Support knowledge management processes and ensure knowledge is codified and managed
• Ensure designs leverage reusable components and align to business requirements
• Identify and address issues affecting application integrity
• Provide technical support to resolve escalated incidents/outages

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years coding/development experience
• Development skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, Groovy, Golang
• Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms/Infrastructure and automation pipelines
• Experience with HashiCorp Terraform (Desired Skill)
• Proficient with Ansible and Ansible Tower, especially writing collections, playbooks, and modules
• Expert knowledge of the business, organization, technical environment, standards, processes, tools, and related technology areas from a design/support perspective
• Ability to work autonomously in a lead capacity and coach/monitor others
• Subject matter expertise across multiple areas and experience advising clients and project teams
• Strong commitment to the quality of deliverables
• vRA/vRO development and/or infrastructure knowledge (Desired Skill)
