The Opportunity

Responsible for overseeing production of a designated area, while assisting in the daily planning. This role will require 20% daily capacity of leadership functions.

The Role
  • The primary point of contact for the assigned area, liaise and provide guidance with Production team.
  • Identify capacity requirements and effectively resource plan.
  • Ensure that daily team meetings are being performed with feedback to management on safety, production, quality and maintenance issues.
  • Review requisitions and forward to Purchasing.
  • Support training of new employees.
  • Daily review of time sheets to ensure proper coding and job allocation.
  • Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Accountable for budget performance.
  • Actively participate in kick off meetings.
The Candidate
  • Education : High School diploma
  • Work Experience : 5 years of production environment
  • Knowledge : Excellent communication skills, preferably knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. Electro-mechanical experience. Knowledge of Electric Motors.
