Job description

Our client has an immediate opportunity for Electricians to join their team.

Wage: $35/hr

Shift: Day and Afternoons Shift available

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Sawmill Electrical Supervisor, you are required to safely perform quality work within the scope of the trade as it pertains to.
• Ensure that all site electrical systems are maintained in good working order in an effort to maximize the efficiency of mill equipment.
• Installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electric motors, scanners, drives, sensors, and PLC’s on equipment used in the sawmill process.
• Responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment.
• Assist mechanical repairs as needed.
• Preparation of equipment for upgrades.
• Assist production personnel with any electrical problems.
• Ability to function well under pressure.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Previous experience as an Electrician is required.
• Flexible schedule to meet the production requirements of the site.
• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing operations.
