A healthcare organization in Calgary is seeking a Temporary Full Time Clinical Educator to lead educational initiatives based on adult learning principles. The successful candidate will have a degree in Nursing and at least three years of clinical experience, working closely with site leadership to enhance staff capabilities in complex patient care. This role includes promoting evidence-based practices and guiding staff in delivering high-quality care. A valid driver's license for site travel is mandatory.

Reporting to the Program Director of Quality, Safety, and Transformation and working collaboratively with the Site leadership. This position provides leadership in the development and delivery of clinical education and instruction based on adult education principles and philosophy, and by incorporating educational approaches as part of the education delivery. Applies nursing theory, advanced knowledge and leadership concepts, educational theories, and adult learning principles in providing clinical guidance and resource support to staff.
This position is responsible for promoting best practice through staff development and education thus ensuring optimal client outcomes. Assists the managers in maintaining standards of care and in providing and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Provides guidance and support to staff and students in the application of the nursing process in the provision of client care and promoting culture of evidence-based practice and evidence-informed decision making. The key responsibility of the educator is to meet the educational needs of the clinical staff in the organization. Responsible for other duties as required.
