Our client, a leading manufacturer of industrial pipes, valves, and fittings, is expanding in Eastern Canada and seeking a results-oriented District Sales Manager to drive business growth. In this pivotal role, you will lead sales initiatives across Ontario and eastward to Labrador, leveraging a multi-market strategy to boost revenue and expand market share.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership: Engage with engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, end users, and distributors to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop sales strategies for target markets, aligned with company goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, training, and presentations.
  • Market Insights: Assess customer needs and market trends to create effective sales campaigns.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Use Salesforce.com to manage sales activities and project progress.
  • Trade Events: Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events to promote our brand.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with Customer Care, Technical Service, and other teams to ensure high-quality service.
  • Account Management: Support Customer Service in maintaining key account information.
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel within Canada and occasional U.S. trips.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 7+ years in technical or industry sales, with knowledge of flow control products.
  • Skills: Strong communication, technical aptitude, and presentation abilities.
  • Market Knowledge: Experience in water treatment, mining, aquatics, or chemical processing is preferred.
