Qualifications
  • College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related discipline.
  • Training and/or certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention), Conflict Management, and/or Leadership Training is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of related experience in direct care, including experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis; experience with implementation of behavioural protocols and treatment plans is an asset.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of administering a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Experience in Community Development and in Service/Case Coordination.
  • Knowledge of Passport funding is an asset.
  • Candidates must pass a medical and be free of contagious disease per regulatory requirements and maintain immunizations, subject to required human rights accommodation.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of CLTO’s Individualized Passport Supports program and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of people served and staff.
  • Provide oversight of direct support staff and coordinate service delivery to individuals in the assigned program.
  • Ensure high-quality support while complying with applicable legislation, funder requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Program Operations: Develop and implement program standards addressing psychosocial, cultural, physical, and safety needs; monitor and document behaviour development and Person-Directed Plans; ensure compliance with Passport Program Guidelines and other regulations.
  • Financial Management and Program Administration: Manage budget expenditures, review timesheets, expenses, invoices, purchase orders, and budget records; oversee Passport funding budgets and adherence to guidelines; prepare staff schedules and manage vacation requests.
  • Passport funding: Complete Passport funding agreements, conduct Passport Consult and Intake Meetings, review guidelines, discuss funding options, and develop Plans and Budgets; complete Passport Intake processes.
  • Staffing, Training, and Development: Manage full cycle of recruitment and selection for direct support staff; assign caseloads, supervise and evaluate performance; address performance issues promptly.
