A technology solutions firm is looking for a Dynamics 365/Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft's suite of tools. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include customizing dynamics modules, integrating with third-party applications, and creating data visualizations using Power BI. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, but onsite presence in Winnipeg is preferred.

Contract Duration: 24 months contract - Initial 6-month contract with an 18-month extension option
The Dynamics 365/Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and integrations utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.
Customization & Configuration: Customize Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) and build Power Apps/Power Automate workflows to meet business requirements.
Integration: Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, third-party applications) using web services, APIs, and connectors.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Create detailed dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Collaboration: Work with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to gather requirements and ensure proper implementation.
Quality Assurance: Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of all applications.
Coding & Testing: Write, test, and deploy code to meet the quality standards of the Government of Manitoba (GOM).
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, adhering to best practices for deployment, release management, and version control.
Mentorship: Provide technical support and mentor fellow developers on Dynamics-related issues.
All requirements below are Mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Proven experience in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 modules.
Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and data modeling.
Experience in integrating Microsoft Dynamics with third-party applications via APIs, web services, and connectors.
Hands‑on experience with model‑driven apps, canvas apps, and custom connectors in Power Apps.
Expertise in Dynamics 365 customization and configuration (plugins, workflows, forms, views, business rules).
Proficiency in Power Automate for building workflows and automating business processes.
Strong experience in Power BI for creating data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD, and release management.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality results.
A criminal/security check will be required.
Signing a non‑disclosure agreement will be required.
