Join Our Team as a Foreman!

Maxan is currently seeking a full time Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers in a fast-paced construction environment. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, this is a key role for meeting a project’s budget, schedule and quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure all site safety requirements are fulfilled
• Ensure construction is carried out as per plans and specs
• Review completed work and ensure Maxan quality is maintained throughout the project
• Complete daily and weekly reportingEnsure Maxan's work area is clean and tidy
• Ordering adequate materials required to complete the project
• Organizing the workforce to complete the project in a cost-effective manner
• Effectively communicating project progress and any concerns with all stakeholders
• Ability to effectively oversee multiple project sites
• Keep track of changes and extras as well as submit work orders
• Create good working relationships with customers
• Submit master time sheet daily
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• 3to5 years’ experienceas a drywallandacousticsforeman
• Union member or willing to join
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures,equipmentand OHSA requirements
• Ability to read drawings,plansandblueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively

• Valid WSIB, Working at Heights, First Aid certifications,etc.
