Drainage and Water Resources EIT – (189335)

Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of a design team preparing hydrology, hydraulics, storm drain, ditch, channel, roadway drainage, hydraulic analysis of bridges and culverts, stormwater management, hydrologic assessment, floodplain and riverine analysis using local or HEC/USACE standards.
  • Assist the team in preparing plans, analyses, and reports for projects of various sizes and complexity.
  • Produce Drainage Reports, Drainage Plans and Profiles, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, and Floodplain Mapping and Permitting.
  • Perform on‑site field surveying, data collection, and analysis as required.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Water Resources Engineering and/or transportation drainage projects.
  • Experience with Civil 3D, InRoads, Open Roads Designer.
  • Experience with GIS, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (PCSWMM, VisualOTTHYMO, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, HY‑8).
  • Excellent technical and general communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and with a project team.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software.
