About the Role

We are currently looking for a Distribution Specialist to fill a vacancy and join our Distribution Team. Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, this role will be responsible for the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of Semex's products to our international sales network, working closely with our distribution and customer service teams. This is an in‑person role requiring 5 days per week in our Guelph location. The working hours of this role are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This position offers a minimum starting salary of $41,800.00 with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.

What You Will Do:
  • Pack international orders for Semex's genetic products (semen and embryos) in accordance with internal procedures and CFIA/International regulations
  • Handle liquid nitrogen safely for use in specialized shipping tanks
  • Prepare advertising and equipment shipments
  • Perform maintenance duties to ensure shipping tanks are inspected, disinfected, and in good condition
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Post secondary education preferred along with good communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Ability to move containers weighing up to 120lbs/55kg, lift up to 70lbs/32kg, and strong manual dexterity is required
  • Hard‑working self‑motivated
  • Eager to learn various aspects of our Distribution system
