Job Description

What you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and organizing driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
  • Assigning routes to drivers (in-house software)
  • Responding to internal client calls efficiently, courteously, and professionally
  • Entering information into the computer system to document calls and follow up appropriately
  • Serving as the drivers’ point of contact regarding work hours and resolving issues, if any
  • Weighing trucks on our scales and integrating the data into our system
  • Processing customs paperwork requests (USA drivers)
  • Maintaining and tracking inventories in our supply yards on a daily basis
  • Performing all other related tasks
Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • You are capable of managing complex problems to find the best solutions
  • You have very strong analytical skills
  • You have extensive knowledge of the geographic regions of Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and Maine
  • You are available outside of working hours to manage driver emergencies
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)
  • You are bilingual in oral and written communication (an asset)
