THE COMPANY

We strive to provide clean, quality products, excellent lead times, and professional customer service. We are a manufacturing company based in Norwich, Ontario. Our specialty lies in both recycling and building new pallets and other wooden products. Our 54,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is equipped to meet your pallet needs now and long into the future.

THE POSITION: DISPATCH / LOGISTICS
  • Work Hours : 8 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m. (Monday–Friday)
  • Coordinate, schedule and dispatch truck drivers to complete trailer switches, deliveries, and material pick-ups. According to priority, status, and geographical location.
  • Track and monitor trucks, trailers, and equipment, and provide assistance to drivers when needed.
  • Coordinate third-party logistics companies to fulfil material pick-ups and communicate with team, supervisors and management.
  • Coordinate trucks entering our yard, scan weight and material, record and process loads.
  • Oversee, coordinate and monitor trucks, trailers and equipment for unkept trucks, maintenance issues, along with non-compliance and regulations in regards to commercial trucking.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, partners and colleagues.
  • Communicate with the logistics / dispatch team and management for continuity.

REQUIREMENTS
  • MUST HAVE : Basic computer literacy, Excel, Outlook, Data Input
  • REQUIRED : Previous exposure to Commercial Vehicle Compliance
  • REQUIRED : Previous exposure to coordinating third-party logistics
  • REQUIRED : Previous exposure to dispatching commercial truck driver
  • MUST HAVE : The ability to communicate well, both written and verbal
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the commercial trucking industry

  • Dedication and punctuality
