Position Title: Director, Strategic Partnerships

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reports To: Vice President Sales

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Position Overview:

The Director – Strategic Partnerships is responsible for driving new business development and regional expansion in the healthcare sector across Western Canada. This role focuses on identifying prospective organizations, building strong executive-level relationships, and converting opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a regional growth strategy to expand clients and revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the healthcare & education sector.
  • Lead the full business development cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and forums to increase visibility.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, conversion metrics, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and successful partnerships.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA is an asset).
  • 5–8 years of progressive business development experience with a proven record of achieving growth targets.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence C-suite executives.
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills with long-term contracts.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset with strong communication and presentation skills.
Compensation:
  • Base Salary & Incentives: Annual base salary of $100,000–$120,000, plus eligibility for the Commission Program.
  • Benefits & Perks: Comprehensive benefits package, including pension with company contributions/match, company credit card.
  • Additional Allowances: Monthly car allowance to support business travel and related expenses.
