Overview

Join Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. as the Director - Small & Medium Business, Commercial Lines (Select) and lead our dedicated Client Service team in Calgary, AB, Canada. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to build our client service strategy, directly impacting client retention, happiness, and operational excellence. You will report to the Regional Client Service Leader and work closely with the Branch Manager to align with branch goals.

  • Lead and develop a team of Branch Client Service Managers and Associates.
  • Deliver high-quality client service in accordance with AJG operational standards and practices.
  • Attain and surpass efficiency and performance metrics.
  • Invent and implement efficient processes and workflows.
  • Ensure client retention and happiness by improving AJG's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to successfully implement branch strategies.
  • Foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of client service and/or claims management experience, or High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Appropriate licensing as required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing operational service delivery.
  • Skilled in guiding teams within a matrix structure, specifically in operational service delivery or shared services.
