About Rouge Care

Rouge Care is a premium red light therapy brand in the health and wellness space. We design and sell high‑performance physical products globally through Shopify. As the business scales, we are focused on building reliable, well‑integrated operational systems across inventory, fulfillment, and supply chain.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Director of Operations to lead and continuously improve Rouge Care’s operational infrastructure. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on systems, execution, and measurable outcomes. The role is responsible for ensuring products are produced, stocked, and delivered on time, while improving shipping speed, inventory accuracy, and operational reliability.

This is not a passive oversight role. You will be expected to take ownership of operational systems, identify gaps, and implement solutions that support growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage Rouge Care’s core operational systems, including Shopify and a potential ERP system, ensuring accurate and reliable data across orders, inventory, fulfillment, and returns.
  • Lead the ongoing optimization of ERP workflows, integrations, and reporting to support scaling operations.
  • Build, maintain, and refine inventory forecasting models to support purchasing, production planning, and inventory allocation across regions.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing partners and suppliers (primarily in China) to manage production timelines, component availability, and inbound logistics.
  • Manage fulfillment and logistics operations across multiple fulfillment partners and warehouses, ensuring orders are shipped accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and improve key operational metrics such as delivery times, inventory availability, fulfillment accuracy, and returns.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce shipping times and improve the customer delivery experience.
  • Audit existing operational workflows and document clear, scalable SOPs to support consistency and growth.
  • Use automation and AI tools where appropriate to manual work, improve forecasting, enhance reporting, and increase operational visibility.
  • Support new product launches and market expansions by ensuring operational readiness across inventory, fulfillment, and systems.
  • Work cross‑functionally with leadership, finance, and customer support to resolve operational issues and improve end‑to‑end performance.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics, ideally within eCommerce or DTC.
  • Strong experience working with Shopify and a new ERP system.
  • Proven experience managing inventory forecasting, production planning, and fulfillment operations.
  • Experience coordinating with international suppliers and managing inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work directly with data.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving systems and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • High level of autonomy and trust to implement practical, effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating in an eCommerce environment with physical products.
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations, APIs, and data flows between systems.
  • Experience managing multiple fulfillment partners or warehouses.
  • Interest in automation and AI‑driven operational improvements.
Why Join Rouge Care
  • Direct ownership over systems and processes that materially impact customer experience.
  • Opportunity to lead and shape operations in a growing, product‑led business.
  • Remote work with East Coast alignment.
  • Group insurance plan.
  • RRSP savings match.
  • Annual wellness stipend ($500) with Teddy.
