Reporting to the Group CFO and partnering closely with the CEO of Blume, this is a senior, high‑impact leadership role at the heart of commercial decision‑making. You will lead all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, and operational finance for Blume, providing deep commercial insight, robust financial control, and strategic clarity to support ambitious growth plans.

Key Accountabilities
Strategy & Leadership
  • Lead Blume’s financial strategy, partnering with the CEO and Group CFO to drive profitable growth, cash performance, and commercial insight.
  • Provide clear analysis of performance drivers and the financial impact of strategic decisions.
People Leadership
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing finance team, embedding a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Technical & Financial Control
  • Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure strong financial controls, audit compliance, and alignment with Group standards.
  • Drive improvements in finance processes, systems, and reporting capability.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a fast‑growing, commercial, or acquisitive business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Experience owning end‑to‑end financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience building and developing high‑performing finance teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence at executive and Board level.
  • Experience working within Group structures, including audit, governance, and integration activities.
