A leading insurance provider is seeking a Property and Casualty Underwriting Director to oversee underwriting strategy and processes, develop innovative insurance products, and manage a team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in property and casualty insurance underwriting and strong management skills. The Property and Casualty Underwriting Director is responsible for directing the property and casualty underwriting strategy, policies, and processes to deliver profitable growth. The role oversees all aspects of underwriting, business development and retention and leads the development of innovative insurance products. They foster innovation, build key relationships, and collaborate with executives to ensure underwriting business is aligned with Ryan Specialty's strategic and financial goals.

The target salary range for this position is $196,000.00 - $245,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
