A reputable educational institution in Kingston seeks a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to oversee budgeting and forecasting processes. You will manage the Budgets & Planning department, ensuring accurate financial reports support senior management decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA designation, a minimum of 9 years in financial systems, and strong leadership skills to navigate diverse stakeholder interests. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $125,153 to $156,441 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent has ownership of the budgeting software (currently Budget Maestro) and Peoplesoft Nvision reporting including the analysis and recommendation of new systems/reports and upgrades. The incumbent provides support, guidance, training and solutions for reporting and budgeting systems.
The incumbent has responsibility for interpretation and compliance with Ministry policy in certain areas.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 4-year Degree in the field of accounting or finance. A Chartered Professional Accountant(CPA) designation is required.
A minimum of 9 years of experience developing, maintaining and controlling multi-divisional budget andfinancial systems. Demonstrated experience working successfully with people at all organizational levels,and with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests and philosophies. Proven prior supervisory experienceto demonstrate strong leadership and team development skills.
Other Required Qualifications:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.
