A leading insurance company in Calgary is searching for a strategic leader in auto claims management. You will guide operations, enhance customer service, manage financials, and assure compliance. The ideal candidate has over 7 years in claims, including 5 years in leadership. This role promotes a hybrid work model and offers a competitive salary range of $101,000 to $186,000, plus various benefits aimed at fostering diversity and inclusion.

Reporting directly to the VP - National Auto Claims, the incumbent is accountable for providing direction and support for Economical Insurance auto claims operations on a national basis excluding the province of Quebec. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our claims organization, co‑leading its ongoing transformation and ensuring alignment with the Definity’s broader strategic objectives. This is a highly visible role requiring a strong leader with proven success in claims management and operational excellence.
Experience with litigation and integration is considered a strong asset.
Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, mentor, and retain high‑performing teams. Experience with performance management systems and techniques is essential.
Salary range is $101,000 - $186,000
Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
