Qualifications

• Preferred experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Experience supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health & Addictions would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals promoting independence and person-centered care.
• Report to the Program Manager and follow guidance from Primary Direct Support.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to advocate for others

Strong problem-solving skills

Experience with persons with disabilities

Education

Post-secondary degree/diploma in social services

CPR, Emergency First Aid, NVCI certification
