With more than 15,000 members across every province, our membership includes mortgage brokers, lenders and insurers. We support the industry through advocacy, education, research, and professional development.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Digital Experience Specialist to manage and enhance MPC’s digital presence. This role blends CMS management, UX/UI expertise, design execution, technical coordination and implementation support. The ideal candidate understands how users interact with digital platforms from end to end and can translate business goals and user needs into functional, intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences.

This role also requires a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, content structure, messaging and layout optimization. The Digital Experience Specialist will apply these principles across MPC’s websites to improve usability, clarity, engagement and overall effectiveness.

Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise Technology and Operations, this role will work closely with the Marketing Department as a primary internal stakeholder, along with designers, developers, and content owners, to ensure MPC’s websites are current, accurate, engaging and continuously improving. The role will play a key part in content management, user journey optimization, functionality enhancements, UAT and maintaining high-quality standards across all web platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain MPC websites using the Sitefinity CMS platform, including day-to-day content updates and maintenance
  • Apply UX/UI best practices to improve usability, accessibility, information architecture and the overall user experience
  • Apply digital marketing and SEO best practices to improve site structure, layouts, content and messaging
  • Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of website functionality, components, and integrations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Execute and support UAT activities, including test case execution, bug tracking, validation and refinement of fixes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective digital solutions
  • Create and update digital assets (banners, graphics, basic layouts) using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines, design systems and accessibility standards
  • Analyze user behavior and feedback to continuously improve website performance and experience
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, standards and governance related to digital platforms
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in a digital, web or CMS-focused role
  • Hands-on experience working with the Sitefinity CMS platform is strongly preferred
  • Proven experience applying UX/UI best practices to page layouts, navigation, content structure and user journeys
  • Experience supporting website functionality enhancements in collaboration with developers and external vendors
  • Experience participating in or leading UAT processes
  • Demonstrated design experience creating digital assets for web use
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong understanding of CMS architecture, content models and content management best practices
  • Hands-on experience managing CMS backends, including templates, workflows, permissions, content structure and publishing best practices
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, accessibility and SEO
  • Ability to think from multiple user perspectives (end users, administrators, content editors, stakeholders)
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS – not required, but nice to have)
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.) and/or Canva
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines
  • A balanced mindset that combines technical, creative and strategic thinking
