Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Minimum of three years of practical experience in clinical dietetics.
  • Experience in inpatient mental health setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and care team to promote strength-based nutritional choices.
  • Provide nutrition assessments and relevant treatment plans.
  • Work within standards of practice and evidence-based best practices.

Skills

Knowledge of the needs of clients with moderate to severe mental illness
Knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Ability to conduct nutrition assessments
Strong communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Experience working collaboratively

Education

Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
A minimum of three years of practical experience in clinical dietetics
