A staffing agency in Kingston is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aid to assist in the safe preparation and delivery of meals in a long-term care home. This role requires strong communication skills and time management, alongside relevant certifications. Job Title: Dietary Aid e
Location: Kingston, ON
Shift/Hours: 4 -8hour shifts only between hours of 6:00am-7:00pm- weekend availability
Wage: $ 2 4.30 /HR
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dietary Aid to join their team. The right fit for this position will have previous experience in this field and be focused on safe, effective preparation, delivery and service of meals and nourishment to residents in a long-term care home facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meal preparation and delivery
  • Ensure Kitchen is clean and sanitized
  • Assist cook put putting away orders
  • Ability to walk for extended periods of time
  • Clean dishes, pots, and dietary equipment
  • Understanding and commitment to the Gentle care philosophy

Job Requirements:

  • Safe Food Handle Certification preferred
  • Proof of Food Service Workers Certificate or proof o f enrollment
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Background Check
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills
