Development & Administrative Coordinator

2. General Description
The Development & Administrative Coordinator utilizes the Housing First Model and Trauma-Informed Care best practices to support and promote agency marketing, programs, and fundraising campaigns to achieve stated objectives.
3. Responsibilities
- Monitor “development” and “info” email; respond to or allocate accordingly.
- Develop content and create social media messages.
- Create and distribute a quarterly newsletter and CRM outreach emails and notifications as needed.
- Assist with the development and completion of the Annual Report.
- Enter financial donations and In-Kind donations into our donor CRM.
- Assist with the reconciliation of CRM to accurately record donations to the correct fundraising campaign and assist in the coordination and distribution of Thank You letters/emails.
- Assist in the creation of content and the maintenance of our website.
- Support fundraising and events, including community fundraising days.
- Serve as an ambassador for select community engagements, including internal events.
- Identify and apply for private foundation and corporate grants and sponsorships.
- Support the Gala in recruiting item donations, sponsorships, and other tasks as needed.
- Support agency fundraising events in recruiting sponsorships and other tasks as needed.
- Support agency administration in completing tasks as needed.
- Assist in promoting and record-keeping all fundraising events in the GiveSmart platform.
- Conduct recruitment, cultivation, and management of 3rd party and In-Kind donors.
- Engage in development tasks and meetings as indicated.
4. Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
4.1 Qualifications
- Bachelor of Art Degree required.
4.2 Skills, Knowledge & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Excellent writing skills are required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Advanced command of Office Suite and computer skills, including email and the ability to document all information in the fundraising CRM donor tool.
5. Occupational Health and Safety

- Being updated on immunizations as required to keep our families safe.
- As mandatory reporters, case managers are responsible for reporting any client behavior to the Department of Family Services through their 24-hour hotline.
