At Canadian Natural, a Developer is responsible for the analysis, design and building of information systems. Working under the guidance of an IS Business Systems Analyst you will be a key contributor in the development of application logic, user and data interfaces, data conversion scripts and reports and delivering technical solutions to optimize Canadian Natural’s Finance and Supply Management areas.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze, design and develop applications and integrations to support and enhance the functionality of 3rd party and custom-built solutions
  • Develop and maintain functional/technical specifications and documentation
  • Troubleshoot applications, fix application defects and/or data errors that are identified
  • Effectively support multiple project initiatives and demonstrate the ability to handle complex work with a logical and pragmatic approach
  • Work and learn in a team environment dedicated to customer service

What You Bring to the Role:

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Developer
  • Demonstrated proficiency in N-tier application design & development using Microsoft .Net, Blazor, REST API’s, SQL
  • Experience with any or all of the following: Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, MuleSoft, Databricks, Azure DevOps, VS Code, Cursor, Visual Studio
