This role is ideal for someone with industry‑related experience, or a highly driven individual with strong foundational skills, who is looking for a long‑term position with the opportunity to grow within the company.

At VW Design, we are a client‑focused interior design studio specializing in residential and commercial projects. We work closely with clients on full‑scope design, including furniture, finishes, and custom solutions, delivering thoughtful and refined interiors. Our studio emphasizes organization, clear documentation, and an exceptional client experience.

This position provides essential support to our team, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining project documentation, coordinating in‑office tasks, organizing samples, creating layouts and renderings, and supporting the design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the interior designer by preparing project documentation, drawings, and materials
  • Create layouts, 3D models, and renderings (SketchUp and other visualization tools)
  • Assist with presentation documents, boards, and visuals
  • Maintain AutoCAD drawings and construction documentation
  • Organize finish selections, samples, and specifications
  • Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and consultants as needed
  • Maintain organized project files, schedules, and office systems
  • Support general in‑office coordination and workflow
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous experience in an interior design studio is an asset, but experience in a related industry is also welcome
  • Strong skills in SketchUp, layouts, and rendering programs
  • Proficiency in presentation software, Excel, and Word
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
