The Role

Seeking a dynamic and energetic dermatologist who possesses a desire to work in an outpatient care setting. Medcan’s dermatology department sees clients for medical, surgical and cosmetic concerns.

This is an Independent Contractor role initially working one day per week on Tuesdays and reports to the Clinical Director, Dermatology. The role sits primarily at our Oakville clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Align to provide open and candid communication within the department.
  • See Medcan clients by appointment in-clinic
  • Work in a fast-paced clinic
  • Collaborate well with the clinic team (i.e. nurses, estheticians, managers)
  • Care for all dermatologic concerns, including medical, surgical and cosmetic
  • Continuously look to innovate care practices using the best evidence medical care
Qualifications
  • Degree in Medicine (MD)
  • FRCPC Designation in Dermatology
  • Proficiency in injection of neuromodulators, fillers, PRP an asset
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and currently licensed to practice in Ontario
  • Outstanding communication skills and an excellent bedside manner
  • Proficiency in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology
