Deputy Director, Environment & Energy

AtkinsRéalis is a key delivery partner for the airports and aviation sector. As a result of our success, we are hiring a Deputy Director, within the Environment & Energy program to join our growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of complex projects within the organization, ensuring that they are executed according to scope, schedule, cost, quality standards, and risk management protocols. The incumbent requires a wealth of experience in managing large infrastructure projects, particularly in the context of international airport development or other similar complex programs.

This role will be based on site in Toronto, ON.

Your role within the team:

  • Deputizes for and provides support to the Director Environment & Energy in all relevant duties.
  • Work closely with other Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers to assist the Program Lead in delivering project objectives.
  • Partner with the Program Lead to track contractor performance, addressing any issues and escalating decisions when necessary.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and obtain required consultations and approvals.
  • Work with the contractor to secure essential permits, approvals, and consents while managing site logistics to support smooth project execution.
  • Oversee the completion of work in accordance with scope, timelines, costs, quality standards, and risk management protocols.
