Job summary

A leading analytical testing company in Toronto is seeking a part-time Sample Collector. You will be responsible for collecting client samples and delivering them to the Depots, supporting the depot supervisor, and serving clients. Candidates must have a clean Ontario driving license and a good understanding of IT applications. Lab experience and LIMS knowledge are considered assets. The role requires working hours from 2 PM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Working closely with the Depot supervisor, projects managers and sales team to efficiently and quickly
• collect client samples and deliver to the Eurofins and Experchem Depots located at North York.
• Supporting the depot supervisor with bottle orders, client interactions, logging in samples using the
• companies LIMS system.
• Serving walk-in clients at reception
• Closing and opening Depot when required.
• Discussing the project with the client to ensure clarity of the requirements, if necessary
• Various administrative duties (filing, faxing, mailing) as required
• Other related duties as assigned
• Part time hours 2pm to 6pm, Mon to Fri

Qualifications

• Must hold current clean Ontario driving license
• Good understanding of IT and PC applications and software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,etc.)
• Able to lift 40lb coolers
• Good communication skills, work effectively and efficiently
• LIMS experience considered an asset
• Knowledge of environmental samples considered an asset
• Self-starter, ambitious and energetic
• Lab experience considered an asset
