Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• CPR Certification is required.
• HARP certification is required.
• NDAEB Certification: Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examining Board is required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical chairside assisting duties including knowledge of instrumentation.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour, and educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
• Prepare treatment room in accordance with infection control and practice protocols (IPAC) for each patient (instrument sterilization, maintain logs).
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
• Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements.

About You

• 2+ yrs experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• CPR Certification is required.
• HARP certification is required.
• NDAEB Certification: Successful completion of the National Dental Assisting Examining Board is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Education: Graduated from applicable Dental Assisting Program (Level II) is required.
