Overview

The Bayview Group has proudly serviced Atlantic Canada and beyond since 1972. Position

Delivery Driver/Lot Attendant – Reporting to the General Manager, this role helps ensure safe and timely transportation of equipment to/from customer locations and throughout our internal network. You will support the day-to-day upkeep and organization of inventory, while aiding the sales and service departments as required. This is a customer-focused role where professionalism, attention to detail, safety, and customer satisfaction are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery Duties: Safely load, secure, transport, and unload tractors, implements, and other equipment between dealership locations and customer sites. Operate trucks, trailers, and hauling equipment in compliance with provincial regulations. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs. Provide excellent customer service during equipment deliveries and pickups, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied. Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.
  • Lot Attendant Duties: Organize and maintain the dealership lot in Fredericton and travel to Woodstock, Miramichi, and Bathurst as required to ensure equipment is displayed neatly and accessible. Move tractors, mowers, and other Kubota equipment safely around the lot and between dealerships as needed. Wash, fuel, and prepare equipment for customer pickup or demonstration. Assist with snow removal and general lot maintenance. Support sales and service departments with equipment setup, staging, and movement.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 3 or equivalent with air brake endorsement preferred; willingness to obtain if not already held).
  • Clean driving record with demonstrated safe driving practices.
  • Experience operating trucks with trailers and/or hauling equipment is an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with agricultural/construction equipment preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate tractors, loaders, mowers, and related machinery.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Bathurst, Miramichi, Woodstock, and Fredericton locations.
Work Conditions
  • Primarily outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
  • Regular travel between dealership locations.
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb in/out of equipment, secure loads, and work on your feet for extended periods.
