Position: DDoS Mitigation Solutions QA Student

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a master’s degree, or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

Your responsibilities

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Contribute as an integral member of the DDoS Mitigation Solutions team, working on building and improving technology for DDoS mitigations.
  • Develop automated test cases to validate new DDoS mitigations using a Linux-based regression environment.
  • Work closely with testers and developers to identify, report, and resolve software defects.
  • Monitor, debug, and improve the automated regression coverage and testing tools.
Your skills and experience
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems.
  • Knowledge of computer networking protocols (i.e., TCP/IP)
  • Excellent software development skill set including programming/scripting (proficiency in Python), debugging, and usage of source control (i.e,. Git).
  • A strong passion for quality, obsessive attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Quick learner, self-starter, and able to work independently.
