We are seeking a proactive, self-starting Database Marketing Operations & Delivery Lead to join our team. This role demands a high degree of autonomy and the ability to quickly shape and refine team operating processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Database Marketing Manager, serving as their right hand in executing the daily operations needed for efficient project delivery and stakeholder communication. This pivotal role merges elements of agile methodologies with operational leadership to facilitate cross-functional efforts and achieve project goals effectively.
As leaders in data ingestion and transformation, we ensure the delivery of high-quality client communications and data poised for advanced analytics insights. Our projects include major transformation initiatives like a migration to Snowflake and expanding our influence and capabilities within the marketing landscape.

Partner closely with the Database Marketing Manager in planning and detailing roadmaps, ensuring consistent follow-through with stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, independently gathering requirements and ensuring their needs are met. Keep stakeholders continuously informed through regular updates and communications.
Establish and continually refine intake procedures, SLAs, and stakeholder status updates for optimal efficiency and communication.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Set up and lead agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, adapting as needed to fit our processes.
Build quarterly roadmaps and continuously groom the backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Write detailed user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria to guide development and stakeholder understanding.
Identify potential risks and issues, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to address these challenges swiftly.
Monitor the day-to-day progress of projects against established objectives, schedules, and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary to stay on track.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years proven experience in a role involving project coordination and delivery, ideally within a marketing or database-focused environment.
Experience in a hybrid (waterfall + agile) project management environment.
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with prior experience engaging effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (ex. Jira and Confluence)
Scrum Master, PMP, PSPO, and/or PSM certifications considered an asset
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada.
