We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our engineering team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our PostgreSQL and Oracle Cloud (OCI) database environments that support large-scale financial and stock market data solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) databases, with additional experience in Oracle RAC (legacy 10g or later) considered a strong asset.

What You'll Do

• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and OCI database environments.
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of production systems.
• Support migrations from legacy Oracle to PostgreSQL and OCI.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize queries.
• Automate database operations and contribute to CI / CD pipelines.

What We\'re Looking For

Required :

• Strong professional experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with emphasis on PostgreSQL and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Hands-on expertise in SQL / PLSQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Linux / Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Background in database backup, recovery, monitoring, and high availability strategies.
• Understanding of database security best practices and compliance requirements.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Oracle RAC (10g or later) in legacy or hybrid environments.
• Exposure to migration projects (on-premises Oracle to OCI or PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Liquibase, etc.).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL extensions (e.g., PostGIS, TimescaleDB).
• Understanding of financial data systems or other high-volume, high-availability environments.
