Job description
Overview

Caseware is one of Canada's original Fintech companies, leading the global audit and accounting software industry for over 30 years, with more than 500,000 users across 130 countries and available in 16 languages. Over 36,000 accounting and audit professionals list Caseware as a skill on their LinkedIn profiles.

We are seeking an entry-level Data & Reporting QA Analyst to support the Revenue Operations team by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of Salesforce-driven Tableau reporting. This role maintains trust in sales performance, pipeline, and revenue insights used by Sales, Finance, and GTM leadership.

The QA Analyst will validate that Tableau dashboards correctly represent Salesforce sales activities, pipeline movements, and revenue signals, identify reporting issues, and spot underlying Salesforce data quality problems that can impact forecasting and go-to-market decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance on Tableau dashboards and reports used for Sales Ops and RevOps decision-making
  • Validate that Tableau outputs accurately reflect Salesforce pipeline, opportunity, account, and activity data
  • Document QA findings, validation logic, and recurring data issues to improve reporting standards and processes
  • Ensure reports align with defined sales processes, GTM rules, and RevOps metrics (e.g., pipeline stages, bookings, attribution)
  • Identify discrepancies between Salesforce records and Tableau reporting, and determine root cause (report logic vs. CRM data quality)
  • Partner with Sales Ops, RevOps, Analytics, and BI teams to resolve reporting and data issues
  • Perform data reconciliation using Salesforce exports, Tableau data sources, and Excel
  • Break down complex sales reporting issues into smaller, testable components to isolate errors
  • Support the ongoing accuracy of pipeline reviews, forecasting, attainment tracking, and performance dashboards
Qualifications
  • Comfort working with Tableau, particularly reading, validating, and interpreting dashboards and metrics
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM), including core sales objects such as Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, and Activities
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, COUNTIF, SUMIFS, filtering, pivoting, and working with large datasets
  • Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills, especially in understanding how sales processes translate into data
  • Ability to work with large and complex datasets and identify inconsistencies or anomalies
  • Foundational understanding of SaaS sales models, including pipeline, bookings, ARR, renewals, upsell, and churn
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership over data accuracy and reporting integrity
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance and prioritizing work based on business needs
  • Willingness to challenge data that appears incorrect and investigate beyond surface-level explanations
  • Comfort supporting forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and GTM performance analysis through accurate reporting
  • Clear communicator who can explain data issues to both technical and business stakeholders
Nice to Have (Not Required)
  • Exposure to Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Analytics roles
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting concepts or pipeline management
