Position Title: Data Entry Clerk

Department: Manufacturing

Location: Rosenort, MB

The Opportunity

The Data Entry Clerk plays a critical support role within the Engineering Department by accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining engineering records, technical documentation, and project data. This individual ensures timely data management that supports engineering design, compliance, and reporting functions across global teams.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter technical data, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and part numbers into engineering and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AutoCAD databases, or PLM software).
  • Maintain and update engineering drawings, design records, and revision histories in digital databases.
  • Organize and track document control processes including version control and approvals.
  • Support engineers by formatting reports, labeling drawings, and filing technical documentation.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure data integrity and flag inconsistencies for review.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments such as Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to ensure information alignment.
  • Assist in compiling data for performance metrics, audit readiness, or product development updates.
  • Provide administrative support to the Engineering Department as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training in office administration, technical documentation, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of data entry or administrative support experience, preferably in an engineering, technical, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong typing skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or engineering software is an asset.
  • Ability to understand and process technical language and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
