Position Summary

We are looking for a Data Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in data engineering with exposure to cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and orchestration tools like Dagster. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about architecting scalable data pipelines, data modeling, and integrating data from various marketing platforms under the guidance of senior team members.

Responsibilities
  • Support and learn from our data engineering practice
  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
  • Support migration of existing data infrastructure to Snowflake under senior guidance
  • Work with Dagster for orchestration and dbt for data transformation workflows
  • Help integrate data from various marketing data sources into our data warehouse
  • Utilize AI tools and knowledge to enhance data engineering processes and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with data analysts and senior engineers to understand data needs and contribute to solutions
  • Support data quality, integrity, lineage, and security initiatives across data pipelines
  • Assist the analytics team with data preparation for visualization efforts
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience with Snowflake (this is our key requirement)
  • Basic understanding of cloud data warehousing solutions
  • Experience with Dagster and dbt for data orchestration and transformation
  • Foundational knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline concepts
  • Programming skills in SQL and Python (intermediate level)
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies – we value candidates who leverage AI for productivity and problem-solving
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Nice to have: Some exposure to media/advertising data or digital marketing platforms
  • Nice to have: Interest in data visualization tools like Qlik Sense

How We Work

This role requires two in-office days per week with three days in-office during the three-month orientation period. Remote work is not available for this position.
