Payers, providers, and consumer health partners build on League’s platform to deliver high-engagement healthcare solutions proven to improve health outcomes. League has raised over $285 million in venture capital funding to date, powering the digital experiences for some of healthcare’s most trusted brands, including Highmark Health, Manulife, Medibank, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

The role

As a Data Analyst, you will support internal stakeholders leveraging the unique digital engagement data that our platform generates to inform our ability to create engaging products and features that improve the health outcomes of our users. You will use in-depth analysis and governance of business intelligence to depict the value of the League platform and drive improvements to customer experience and engagement. You will surface key performance indicators with visual analytics platforms like Looker and Amplitude and work closely with other data analysts, data engineers and data scientists to support the data models underlying the visual analysis dashboards/tools. The database tables you use in reporting and analysis are also used by League’s customers, and you will help answer questions for external customers when they need help.

People who enjoy working within cross-functional and multi-disciplined teams will thrive in this role. You have experience in tying numbers to a larger, strategic business context and enjoy communicating with non-technical stakeholders, translating simple questions into complex analysis and meaningful insights.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide insights through analysis and reporting to inform decisions across Product Management, Client Success, Marketing, and Health Solutions
  • Support League’s customers in using our data to unlock insights using data models and BI, manage data dictionaries, and lead deep-dive Q&A sessions
  • Act as a SME for Reporting; guide users to the right KPIs and clarify their meaning
  • Develop analytics strategies and frameworks to monitor product performance and business KPIs related to application usage and user engagement & conversion
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers and data scientists on data requirements, reporting and forecasting of metrics and building visualizations and data-value stories
  • Regularly conduct data quality audits to ensure the accuracy of data & reports sent to customers, particularly client events (e.g., clickstream data) generated by user interactions in the app

Who you are:

  • You care deeply about using information and data in decision-making and can communicate that logic to customers
  • You are a strong communicator and enjoy collaborating with groups and training or educating teams to use data tools or understand results
  • You are a strong problem solver and can articulate challenges and solutions
  • You are extremely customer-centric and build relationships with customers easily
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
  • You are eager to learn from others and help others grow with you

What you bring:

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with a modern ETL framework
  • Experience building dashboards on Looker or similar BI platforms
  • Experience as a data analyst, data scientist or analytics engineer
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders with demonstrated ability to manage expectations
  • Undergraduate or Masters degree in business, statistics, computer science or a similarly quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Nice To Have Experience

  • Prior experience as a Product (Data) Analyst or in Product Analytics
  • Data analysis and manipulation in Python (Pandas, PySpark, etc)
