Qualifications

  • Experience with Guidewire, DRIVE, SAM, and GIS data models.
  • Strong understanding of Property and Casualty industry products and services.
  • Advanced experience with SAP Power Designer and Vaultspeed (preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques, including data gathering, inspection, cleansing, and transformation using data vault architecture (preferred).
  • Strong skills in data modeling tools and approaches.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to support business reporting and advanced analytics initiatives. The Data Modeler will translate business information requirements into comprehensive data solutions, including data design and mapping, to create an integrated view of data across the organization.

Role Title: Data Modeler

Location: Remote (Canada-wide)

Duration: 9 Months (with potential for extension)

Start Date: October 1, 2025

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and publish Data Models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Establish and maintain data platform standards for integration, naming conventions, reference data, data profiling support, and metadata management.
  • Collaborate with business and technology subject-matter experts to build accurate and representative data models.
  • Provide technical advice and support to internal teams regarding data models and schemas.
  • Ensure technical designs comply with established architecture guiding principles.
  • Participate in testing and validation of data models, mappings, infrastructure design, and data pipeline solutions.
  • Work proactively with stakeholders to identify and resolve data issues impacting service levels.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience with Guidewire, DRIVE, SAM, and GIS data models.
  • Strong understanding of Property and Casualty industry products and services.
  • Advanced experience with SAP Power Designer and Vaultspeed (preferred).
