Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Analyst ensures the security and integrity of TSSA’s IT environment by monitoring, analyzing, responding to, and escalating cyber threats. This role safeguards organizational data and systems against unauthorized access, breaches, and vulnerabilities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor security programs for on-premises and cloud environments, including reviewing logs, dashboards, and remediating anomalies.
  • Maintain and apply fixes to security systems, including Azure, Sentinel, email security gateways, and endpoint protection.
  • Investigate security alerts, remediate issues, and escalate major incidents to supervisors or external vendors.
  • Analyze and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly security performance reports to identify risks and inform improvements.
  • Assist in delivering cybersecurity training and phishing campaigns, including organizing, tracking completion, and ensuring timely deployment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement security programs, schedule patch tests, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Administer user permissions and access rights in platforms such as Active Directory and Azure.
  • Coordinate penetration tests and remediation activities with external vendors.
  • Provide guidance to staff on security best practices, including password policies and phishing awareness.
  • Gather feedback on training gaps and recommend additional materials to improve user compliance.
  • Consult with users to clarify access requirements and respond to security-related requests.
  • Perform other related duties or project-based tasks as required.
Job Qualifications
  • College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in progress
  • 3 years experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or system administration
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles with practical skills using Active Directory, CompTIA Security+, CyberOps Associate, Azure, SIEM tools, and endpoint security
  • Ability to investigate and resolve security vulnerabilities and incidents
  • Skilled in troubleshooting technical issues and applying appropriate fixes
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in routine security tasks and escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Past involvement with organizing security training, patch management, and penetration tests
  • Clear and professional interaction with internal teams and vendors for security guidance and reporting
Hiring Range Details

The hiring range for this role is 63,640 – 79,551. The annual salary may vary within this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
