Lacroix Médecine Privée is currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor – Surgical Care for the Laval operating room. The organization has over 15 years of experience, more than 15 clinics regionally, two operating rooms, and a large team of physicians and staff. The role focuses on coordinating and providing administrative support related to surgery scheduling, informing and advising on surgical services, discussing costs, coordinating pre-surgery procedures, and assisting patients with administrative procedures, including insurance claims where applicable.

Job Objective

Provide coordination and administrative support related to surgery scheduling. Inform and advise on surgical services, discuss costs, coordinate pre-surgery procedures, serve as a point of contact with the healthcare team, and assist patients with administrative procedures, including insurance claims if applicable. The role aims to provide a seamless and professional experience for patients, surgeons, and healthcare teams, ensuring rigorous compliance with administrative procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet, inform, and support patients throughout the preoperative process, as well as regarding surgical products and services.
  • Clearly explain costs and billing procedures, and answer administrative questions.
  • Complete surgical quotes, prepare and submit quotes, and issue patient invoices.
  • Support patients with financing procedures, if necessary.
  • Coordinate pre-surgery steps with the healthcare team (tests, documents, surgical planning).
  • Ensure the completion, compliance, and signature of preoperative documents.
  • Support patients with administrative procedures, including insurance claims, if applicable.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between patients, surgeons, and care teams to facilitate communication and coordination.
  • Follow up on files to ensure efficient care and patient satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the optimization of surgical programs based on the needs of the operating room.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of service offerings and collect patient feedback.
Skills And Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the surgical, medical, or related field (e.g., operating room, day surgery, dental care, cosmetic surgery).
  • More than 10 years of experience.
  • Bilingual or advanced English;
  • Excellent customer service communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly explain administrative and financial information in simple terms.
  • Organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Training in administration or sales.
  • Relevant experience in the medical/surgical field in the area of service sales.
  • Proficiency with IT tools (Office Suite, Excel, Adobe, EMR software such as MYLE, Consigno Cloud, etc.).
