Job summary

A Canadian financial Crown corporation is seeking a Financial Standards Manager who will generate credit risk ratings and conduct thorough analyses to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant undergraduate degree, possess at least five years of experience in financial analysis, and have a strong understanding of credit risk management. This hybrid role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Teams effectively. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in business, accounting, financial analysis for Sr. Associate role.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business, accounting, financial analysis for Financial Standards Manager role.
  • Experience in the accounting and or financial sector.

Responsibilities

  • Generate credit risk ratings for various business lines.
  • Research and interpret new accounting standards/guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence of counterparties.

Skills

Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of credit risk management principles
Skilled in leveraging Microsoft Excel and Teams

Education

Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce or relevant discipline
Professional designation such as CPA or CFA
