Overview

Apex Aluminum is a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion factory located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. With a 170,000 square foot facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry, Apex can offer custom extrusions, mill finish aluminum and anodized aluminum to satisfy the most demanding customer and all architectural needs.

Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an Overhead Crane Operator to join our Anodizing team in Langley, BC.

Shift

Shift: 5:30pm - 4:00am, Mon to Thursday (Rotating)

Responsibilities

• Overseeing four computer-controlled cranes
• Resetting any faults that occur
• Homing crane through touch screen panel
• Operating the crane in manual with remote when required
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Other duties, as assigned

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Be willing to work overtime when required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
