A global malting company is seeking a Cost Accountant to oversee cost accounting responsibilities at its Biggar plant. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Accounting and over 5 years of related experience. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate inventory costing, performing journal entries, analyzing production costs, and coordinating inventory counts. As Cost Accountant your role will focus on cost accounting and fixed asset accounting responsibilities for the Biggar and Sheboygan plants. You will ensure accurate inventory costing and perform journal entries and account reconciliations. You will liaise with the business stakeholders to provide analytical reporting of production costs and performance.
