This role also provides leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to rope access teams while supporting operational planning and program growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with IRATA ICOP, TACS, By-Laws, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct and submit annual internal audits and support IRATA recertification audits as required.
  • Maintain and submit annual declarations confirming continued compliance with IRATA membership standards.
  • Review, authorize, and maintain rope access policies and procedures prior to executive approval.
  • Ensure CAM representation at IRATA AGMs, technical meetings, and industry forums.
  • Act as the lead authority for all rope access-related incident investigations.
  • Oversee hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective action implementation for rope access work.
  • Evaluate, approve, and monitor rope access equipment to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Maintain and submit work performance and safety statistics in alignment with IRATA requirements.

  • Provide technical input during project planning and execution to support safe and efficient rope access operations.
  • Collaborate with operations, safety, and leadership teams to support the growth and effectiveness of the Rope Access Program.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support operational excellence and program development.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid IRATA Level 3 certification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership or supervisory experience within the rope access industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IRATA ICOP, TACS, By-Laws, and rope access safety standards.
  • Solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels.
  • Post-secondary education in business, construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting construction planning, estimating, and resource coordination.
  • Experience working in highly regulated or industrial environments.
