Hiring Unit: Student Services & Hospitality Services - Faculty Club

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Chef or Sous-Chef, the incumbent is responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of meals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals to meet quality standards and service requirements
  • Assist with meal service as directed
Qualifications
  • Diploma from an accredited culinary school plus one (1) year of related experience, OR
  • High School Leaving Diploma with five (5) years of experience as a cook
  • Functional English and French spoken and read; functional written ability in either English or French
  • Knowledge of both French and English; McGill University operates in English for day-to-day duties

  • Status: Temporary Part-time/Full-Time
  • Hours: up to 38.75 hrs/week; various hours
  • Availability: September 21 – December 20, 2025 (2 or more days per week)
  • Hourly Rate: $33.42 per hour
