Interim Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading SaaS company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support their accounting operations during a critical growth phase.

The position will be a hybrid arrangement, with in-office expectations at their offices in North Austin, TX. This engagement has an expected duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close by preparing accruals, journal entries, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash and fee reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A to analyze financial statements and provide explanations for variances.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements.
• Support management with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA and/or public accounting experience a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or other Tier 1 ERP systems.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
