A major financial institution located in Toronto is seeking a Consultant in Data Risk to join its Enterprise Data Governance team. This role involves conducting comprehensive risk assessments, engaging with stakeholders to promote a risk-aware culture, and analyzing data to evaluate risk exposure. Candidates should have a degree in Information Management or a related field, with strong analytical skills and experience in risk management frameworks. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Data Risk (Enterprise Data Governance Adherence), you will be a key member of the Enterprise Data Governance Adherence Risk Assessor team in the Enterprise Data & Records Management Office (EDRMO) / Chief Data Office (CDO). EDRMO is a central hub/enterprise level governing office for Data & Records. As a Consultant, Data Risk, you will work closely with business partners and stakeholders from various Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Functional Groups (FGs), both Project Teams and respective Data Governance(DG) teams: to provide expertise and leadership on Data/Records risk for projects and other internal risk processes. As a Consultant, Data Risk, you will primarily be involved in evaluating and leading various individual Data & Records Risk Assessments, making sure these assessments adhere to our respective due diligence, policies, standards, guidelines and our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
