Job summary

A community health service in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Clinical Unregulated Care Provider Supervisor to oversee PSW’s and HSW’s, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering quality care. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse.
  • Understanding of community nursing principles.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support PSW’s and HSW’s to comply with standards.
  • Advise/resolve concerns from staff and patients.
  • Provide ongoing leadership through meetings.
  • Initiate patient safety incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with nursing teams on clinical documentation.
  • Engage patients and staff in problem-solving.

Education

Current RN or RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
